Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Pushmo's success compared to Gunman Clive

Tagged games:

So I sat here and looked through the figures for gunman clive. Sadly, the maker of the game can't give us the full figures with the total sales and all, but he can give us a clue about how well games perform on the e-shop. And then I thought: "But what about pushmo?" Nintendo won't release any info on this, so why not try to get something here.

Well, this is all nice and dandy, so what about pushmo. Well, taken by reviews in Norway, Pushmo (pullblox) have 756 reviews (second most sold) and gunman clive 68 (not even top 20). 756/68= 11.12

So pushmo has 11.12 times as many reviews in Norway as Gunman Clive. The review total doesn't reflect the total sales, but should be a pinpoint.

What do you think, how much have pusmo sold?

I'm actually more interested in how we can find out FE:Awakening sales using the Gunman Clive info.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

I was looking through Bertil's posts on gaf, but I could find out if the figures were in profit or sales :/

Pushmo has to have sold pretty damn well. I'm just surprised Gunman Clive outsold Android and iOS. Probably in a few months it will outsell both combined. Smartphone gaming is the end of dedicated hand helds? Yea right.. How about porting all the good smartphone games over to a dedicated hand held that has physical buttons and can be appreciated more.

I'd argue not charging 300%-900% more for the eShop version may also have played a role.

Yea, having about the same price range probably helped.  Cut the rope sold decent on DSiWare though at $5 compared to a dollar or 2 (I believe a dollar) on Android.  Don't get me started on Activision and Angry Birds Trilogy...  Those should have been 3DSWare at 2 dollars each max with 3D effects.

Not sure why some companies insist on doing that. (Angry Birds for example).

Well, angry birds costs around 40 times as much on 3ds compared to gunman clive on 3ds in norway,
