With the right treatment, I think Star Fox could jump two tiers. But right now "D" seems appropriate.
What about F-Zero? That's D, or maybe even E :(
Also, who owns Sin & Punishment?
Which Tier does Zelda belong in terms of sales? SS sold 4 million but HD Zelda on WiiU might sell more. | |||
A-Tier | 73 | 76.84% | |
B-Tier | 20 | 21.05% | |
Total: | 93 |

tbone51 said: Hey i was gonna do this thread but i fell asleep -_- TBH I dont think its all about sales, clearly its a major factor but something like for Ex Ice Climbers sold 1.5mil but is no way a bigger franchise than Fire Emblem which hasn't (intill Awakening to be soon) surpassed 1mil. I dont want to be a copy-cat since you did this first but do you mind if i make a specific tier? Most of wat you said is true dont get me wrong, but i think i might have some tweaks to help?! |
This one is based off sales potential,
Why don't you do one on critical acclaim/Importance to Gamers?

I might fix it up if the HD zelda is looking to do strongly. Animal Crossing only is S-tier on handhelds only, and I'm actually not quite sure if EU and NA can drive it up to S. Leaving it at A. |
Fair enough for AC. The 3DS is already demonstrating that unreal success in Japan doesn't necessitate any success at all elsewhere so it's fine if you're doubtful.
I still disagree on SSB, though. At this point, it's completely unreasonable to expect the next SSB to sell 10m+; the WiiU userbase is just too small and it's completely untested on handhelds. Given that you're ranking these by current sales potential, putting it that high seems unrealistic.
Plus, I don't see why you're so stubborn about splitting Mario. ;P The subfranchises have completely different sales potential so ranking them together makes no sense.

Are you not counting HandHelds? It seems you aren't by the posts above.
Where is Mario Kart the biggest of them all.?

I am splitting mario, a lot of people seem to want it.
