1) I hate polls with only one option. What is the point of the poll if you force people to choose your opinion?

2) Sony will likely focus on the good today so no one will be disappointed unless the graphics are worse than expectations. This will change person to person

My use of "you" was predicated upon whether "you" accepted the proposition "if that were your way of life," It was a propositional statement meant to apply to you (or anyone) if they held the logic I proposed. 

If you don't hold that logic, then you agree with me that it's stupid.

No I don't hold that view. However since Sony feeds that kind of sentiment they are not free of blame, imho. So though I agree with you, there's more to it than you present.

Also, though it doesn't cause me to judge the company, it makes me less excited about the event, for certain.

No more than there are some people who will praise whatever MS does or whatever Nintendo does. And on the other end of the spectrum, no matter what they show, some people will hate it.

They have hyped the event up like crazy though so they're going to show something great.
