EXAMPLE: if a black person calls you a "cracker", then you should have every right to call that person, a "N****r." but you get accused of a hate crime, and they get off the hook even though they started it. the media is such BS cause they make me want to feel ashamed for being white. thats just wrong, why should i be blamed for something that my ancestor's did? in case you dont realize this im talking about slavery.

White slavers used to call black slaves the N word as a derogatory term to put them down. So if you say that you should have every right to call that racist black person the N word, yet you say that you shouldn't be blamed for something that happened in history, then you're contradicting your very statement. When a non-black person says the N word to a black person, then it is synonymous to the hate term used in history. I agree that racism of any form is bad, but tackling racism with racism is not the right solution and you don't inherit the "right" to use such racist terms.

On another note, can anyone explain to me the significance of "cracker" and why (if at all) it is offensive to white people?

switzerland is neutral, what are you talking about?

I'm not talking about switzerland, I'm talking about the whole world. And when i say the whole world i mean America.

Ignorance and stupidity will always exist on Earth, which is why it's pointless to try and breath some logic and kindness to people who just don't want to act that way.
I tend to ignore racists and enjoy having fun with my fellow white friends as well as my black, Asian and Hispanic friends.

Why does that matter first of all? America hasn't been around long enough such as Egypt for that to occur and on top of that After America became a country society as a whole started evolving at rapid pace especially in the Human Rights situations

Rapid pace? I think the opposite argument could be made, especially given the principles and ideals on which our country was founded......I mean, blacks didn't even have a semblance of political equality until the mid 1960s. Truth is, American history is a lot uglier than most people are willing to admit. There are numerous examples where we've violated the principles outlined in popular conceptions of our political culture.

thousands upon thousands of years believing slavery is fine vs 100 or so years thinking it was fine in the US followed by another 100 years or so of segregation... yeah, I'd say that's pretty rapid.

There's a lot of this in the UK. If you even GENUINELY say certain words in the most light-hearted way as a joke, if its to do with race, your label is racist and you will get called out by the leftists. Meanwhile, jokes about gays, fat people, women, white people, gingers etc are perfectly acceptable and people laugh and laugh. Yes, sometimes people get annoyed by this, but it is often over very quickly. Not so with racism. It gets to the poit where you can be afraid of associating with other people in care you say something which is misconstrued or taken out of context, as people come down hard on so-called racists. Of course it's foolish to deny racism exists, but there are so many double standards. On Russell Howard's good news in te UK, when he has a black or Asian (as in Indian or Pakistani person) as the comedian, most of the jokes are base around racism and that's all they talk about is their skin colour and racism. It's a bizarre time to live.

No I live in the UK and what you speak of is the result of idiots who like to be controversial for the sake of it, these are the same idiots who were making Nazi chants after football fans of a rival club were ambushed by a bunch of fascists in Rome. People who think they can say anything then hide behind their freedom of speech rights so as a result political correctness became dominant to reprimand such idiots whose cath phrase is "I'm not racist but...", a lot of people are ignorant of other cultures and say things that are just plain wrong and still argue their case until they get dismantled this is why no one tends to speak out, jokes about women aren't seen as more acceptable either you're just as likely to get done for being sexist as you are for being racist and jokes about fat people can get you done for bullying while gay jokes aren't seen as funny over here as some other places and can result in discriminate action against you. I have friends of all ethnic groups and we have light hearted jokes all the time be we keep in mind that the jokes context is only among us and take into account someone else may get offended so we're careful about our conduct in places something many people don't do.

Well that's not my experience and believe me I've had some extreme experiences. But I'm glad your experience is much better. But I stand by what I said.

Africans sold their own people as slaves too. I'm not sure what their name was for those slaves back then though.

Eygptians called them nigger (or a version of it) because in fact the term wasn't used for hundreds of years to say people were lower than humans but it meant dark hair and dark skinned. If you go see the King Tut exhibit you will see it everywhere to describe the paintings of black people. It might be with 1 g though or maybe an a

That's a bit ironic considering that Ancient Egypt was ruled by Upper Egypt which is modern day Sudan....

Upper Egypt was NOT modern day Sudan. The empire expanded to include a small area of Sudan in the New Kingdom but saying Upper Egypt in general was Sudan is plain wrong.

It's not okay for anyone to be racist. I don't appreciate it when someone that called my people a blue-eyed devils was considered a hero. My eyes aren't even blue.

Certain Black Muslims call white people blue-eyed devils.  One of those guys had a movie made about him and everything...
