I'll just never understand the love for Mario Galaxy. Put that game down after about 2 hours. Oh well. Metal Gear Solid 3 is my number 1. Wish Demon's Souls and Shadow of the Colossus were higher.

I was prepared for the worst, but this is actually not bad. There are some glaring omissions -- Halo, Deus Ex, and BioShock among them -- and some games seem a little low -- Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, and StarCraft -- but I've seen a lot worse.

The list shows what we already know about the community here. There are more Nintendo and Sony fans than PC and Xbox fans. Personally I'd dump Metal Gear Solid 4 for Panzer Dragoon Saga and swap Uncharted 2 for Halo CE, but that's me. This list is severly lacking in Halo games, the best FPS series on consoles.

 

BTW. Why is Half Life 2, The Orange Box and Half-life 2 Episode 2 all on the list? Why not just The Orange box? Also why is Metroid Prime 1, 2,  and 3 on the list when Metroid Prime Trilogy is on it already? There's also both Metal Gear Solid and Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes. I also notices Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Advanced 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 Just pick one and leave space for other great games.

Halo's absence does devalue the list, that's for sure.

And I also agree about removing compilation games, but it's probably impossible. If Metroid Prime Trilogy and The Orange Box are in the database, there's nothing keeping them from appearing on the list.
