Forums - Sony Discussion - How big does the PSVita price drop need to be?

I bought mine (3G version) with LBP Vita and a 4GB mem card for €200. That was a great deal and Gravity Rush, which I finished today, and LBP Vita already made it totally worth it to me.

Its already selling at a loss. Then they can't cut the price.

The system doesn't do anything unique enough to warrant a purchase. And it's market is folks that wanna look cool while they sit by them selves and play on it in public. A very small market.

I wonder what patcher has to say about THEM APPLES!!!!

I think at this point Sony just needs to go for broke. 170$ with a 4GB Memory card, 200$ with a 4GB Memory card and a game. 250$ for the 3G version with an 8GB Memory card, free game, and one month card for PS Plus.

The system was breaking even at launch, I'm sure it's profiting by now.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Btw my gf bought mine for $250 w/ 4gb and MK

Wi-Fi only version should drop to $170

3G+Wi-Fi with a memory card $199

I bought mine for $250 with a 16gig memory card a while back.

At the abysmal rate it's selling currently? $80 like the 3DS won't do much. What saved the 3DS were the Mario games COMBINED with the price cut. This thing needs MH right NOW.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

I think a base price of $179 w/4GB MCard and a bundle at $199 would be good deals.

Sony needs to do a collage advertisement which shows off all the great games the Vita has, including upcoming titles like Tearaway and Killzone. They should let whomever makes the Media Molecule ads handle it, because they make the best games ads I've ever seen.

The Wifi version needs to be dropped to $169.99/ 199.99 with a game and a memory card. The 3G version needs to be $199.99/229.99 with a memory card and Plus.

I also expect Nintendo to drop the price of their console, if Sony drops the price of the Vita.

£179 with a 4gb memory card and a game would do well.

It depends on the games. If you think the Vita's library is worth the purchase price. Personally, the Vita does not have enough software to make it worth 250 dollars to me, or even 250 as it was during the holidays. If the Vita had software I was interested in, 250 wouldn't be an issue for me.
