I knew you make this thread lol! Im 23, I went to the pokemon tournament in 2011 (21 at the time) and i was one of the yongest there no lie!

lol  Im not becoming that predictable am i? lol  That's crazy that you was one of the youngest there.  I never got into the multiplayer of pokemon though.  i've always been annoyed by the fact that people can use cheats to level up etc.  I hope they get rid of AR readers and game sharks this generation.

haven't played Pokemon since Pokemon stadium 64 but I am planning on getting Pokemon X or Y in October

17 here and still do but not as hardcore as I used to. I just play through the games once and try to get the whole pokdex. However it takes too long and it involves lots of trading. 600+ things to capture,evolve and breed is alot of work. I respect anyone who has that kind of dedication which proves they are dedicated to life and want to live it to the extreme unless they have no life but I hope it is the former.

I'm 20 and I start watching the anime when I was young, but I only saw the first season. In terms of games I loved gen 1 and 2 games but hated gen 3 and 4, luckily Black and White manage to make me like the franchise again (still need to play Black and White 2 though). I will wait before picking up X and Y, going to wait for reviews and users opinions.

I thought you meant when you launched the game and Squirtle would be there next to Ash/Blue/Trainer.
