Sure it is. But some of the other points are quite... doubtful at least. But hey, it's ok to state that one is a fan of a technical device - if arguments are legit is not important if you have a strong opinion ;)

From what I've seen, in real life, the PS3 Fat isn't all that more reliable than the launch 360. The Slim PS3 and Xbox 360 are pretty damn reliable and a lot better than the original versions. That's what I've seen with my own eyes. |
Grasping at straws there? PS3's failure rate is nowhere near 360's especially the launch ones. Im yet to see someone replace 5-6 PS3's because of YLOD...32% failure rate ring any bells ? That's almost 1/3 of all 360's dead back then
simple CD or blu ray or for that matter any versatile disc support since the laser disc..... is probably the worst storage support ever invented and certainly the less reliable..... but go on I like the way you think.... electronic is like food the junkier it gets the more addicted people are to it.....

"Grasping at straws?" I find that offensive.
I'm going by what I've seen around me. The launch systems of both companies failed. Most likely due to lead free solder forced on them at the last minute. It took them revisions to fix the issue. That's why both the RROD and the YLOD require solder reflow to fix.
The most I've seen, in real life, an Xbox get sent in is twice back in the early days. One of my friends sent in his launch 360 for RROD and then a year later got another RROD, but he still has the third one MS sent him for free. I've heard stories on the internet of people going through 4-6 360s, but like anything on the internet, including your 32% stat, I take it with a grain of salt. If that 32% figure is true, it's only true for the very first batch of 360s and does not represent the entire line.
Like I said before, after giving a detailed history of what I've witnessed which you did not quote, whave I've seen with my own eyes is that the launch PS3 is not much MORE reliable than the launch 360. As you can see I said it was more reliable, I just haven't seen evidence that it's considerably more reliable.
You can think what you want of me, but I go by what I've seen in real life, not what fanboys spew on the internet in stupid console hate wars.
