Another milestone! According to vgchartz. com the Mario franchise has surpassed 500 Million units sold and is the most selling franchise of all time! Simply wow! Congratz!!

All-Time Champion! Not surprised, 25 some-odd years later and the Mario 2D platformers are still tons of fun and the 3D games still amaze with their innovative gameplay. Mario Galaxies are genius.

For 1 day sig controll; I say bayo2 will stay exclusive on a Nintendo platform a year after release, while he's saying it will go multiplat within a year.

Bet with Dr.Grass:

If I win he will call me King in his sig for a whole year, and if I lose I will proclaim my stupidity - for a whole year.

Is there a franchise that has been as lucrative?

I account for several units within that 500 Million:

- Super Mario Bros

- Super Mario Bros 2

- Super Mario Bros 3

- Super Mario World

- Mario Kart 64

- Super Mario Galaxy

- Mario Kart Wii

- New Super Mario Bros Wii

.. and a bunch of others that I can't think of right now.

No there isn´t! As soon as you do not count download crap! Free games (cheap ones) like angry birds cannot be counted! I hope i did not hurt any apple fans around here.

I wouldn't worry about. There's like 1.5 apple fans on here. Ony 30% of which is actually dangerous.
