Like Sony and MS, Nintendo might be able to keep the hackers at bay in their online network by banning hacked consoles and regularly releasing new system updates that exchanges the keys and are mandatory for playing online, but playing pirated games and such probably can't be stopped anymore as they seem to be quite far into hacking the WiiU already and even if failoverflow decides to not officially release how they did it, chances are it will be leaked soon anyway. |
if it is a proper hack and not just some tool with a youtube app running on the game pad, then if it gets leaked in any way before they're able to fully secure access to the firmware and block updates from removing the hack then it would just allow nintendo fix the flaw and render this hack useless.
