How abouts you do this. From December 25th to Jan 1st, take a look at how the numbers grow. There must be some kind of stat in the online area of the game.

If it rises as of Dec 25th, you'll know he was right. Me, personally, I wouldn't be surprised, since his reasoning makes sense.

doesnt matter since nba2k13 on the Wii U is just as bad, im sure an nfl2k games on the Wii U would bomb just as bad.
