I think 14m is a reasonable target, as I don't think the economy is going to help.

These reasons alone should catapult the 3DS to better sales than this year. Hopefully

Pokemon won't be ready for 2013.  The mainline games require two years development, and it's barely had six months so far.  I'd say Pokemon and Smash are locked in for 2014.

SSB4 wont be out in time, it be out 2014!
As for pokemon dont forget they had two different teams! One for BW and another for HG/SS! Its also possible for remake sapphire/ruby! I think pokemon (if gen 6) comes out japan alone will push up 2mil units of hardware! in america and europe 3mil can be pushed alone IMO

25+ mil. 3DS will have some huge titles this coming year. Luigi's Mansion and Animal Crossing are only the tip of the iceberg.

It will no doubt break 13M this year alone, so I have no reservations in predicting 14M+ sales for 2013.

Why? No real reason. We don't know enough. So... who knows??? But I'm an optimistic person. So... I aim to the top.
Funny thing is: after my vote, I thought I would see 1 vote for 25mil+ (mine)... but I see 9! Wow!
Good people. :)

Edit: I think we may even get (another) redesign, if Nintendo keep pushing on that pedal. Because it obviously works (see the XL in Japan).

Cool i want to keep this thread alive by next year so we can see who or what prediction were correct and far off!!! Also i wished the 2 trolls would of posted, if 3DS gets less than 6mil then its doooomed!
