I suppose none of the anti-gun people aren't going to explain why Vermont, a state with very lax guns laws, has one lowest number of gun homicides per capita in the US.

Vermont has a very small population.  Probably most are semi rich.  Why would they resort to gun violence?  I'd like to meet a homeless person from Vermont.

no they arent, they are designed to fire projectiles.

and those "projectiles" can kill things

some much much better than others. there are many types of ammunition, while considered lethel arent very effective at killing.some bullets or more lethal than others. there's hollow points, armor piercing, JSP, JHP, FMJs, birdshot, buckshot, slugs, theres different powder count, different calibers, different aerodynamics to the bullet. All of these have verying effectiveness at killing. some bullets are designed to be very effective at killing, some at stopping power, some are just meant for plinking or target practice, some only good for skeet and trap. some designed for small game, and ineffective against big game.

my point was to debunk that guns are designed to kill and nothing more. some are, some are. but none of them will kill unless there is a person pulling the trigger.
