Im not a pacquiao fan i dont have to get over anything. Its my keyboard and im paying for internet, if you dont like what im typing get the hell of the internet. Pacquiao has never been the best technician and we are used to him making mistakes but to rush in like that against a master counterpuncher with 5 seconds of a round left was just stupid.

I was really worried for him when he went down. Boxing is a dangerous sport, getting hit 100 times in the head (depends on the fight, but boxers routinely take a couple hundred) per fight is insane.

Marquez should call it a day too I feel. Both well past there best and fighting outside their best weightclasses.

I wasn't surprised at all that Pacquiao lost, just that he got knocked out. Marquez got robbed at least once previously, we knew he could beat Pacquiao. I never thought he'd show that kind of power, though.

Pacquiao makes mistakes in the ring, he always has. He usually covers those up with pure power and hand speed but quality counter-punchers have a shot against him. That's why Pacquiao would have been an underdog against Mayweather, who is one of the most skilled boxers I've ever seen in my life. The guy's defense and counter-punching ability are unreal. Style is a big part of boxing. Despite what everyone wants to believe, Mayweather would be a nightmare match-up for Pacquiao. Power punchers always have a shot, of course, but it would have been an uphill struggle.

Finally soneone that know what they are talking about. Pacquiao is an exciting fighter but i hate the media hype surrounding him. He practically has no defense and makes up for it by throwing a lot of wild punches which is not a bad thing.

No i want to see him return i honestly do. I like Pacquiao as a fighter he is exciting but im just being real. His footwork is very poor and he has no defense and the media hype surrounding him is disgusting. There are other boxers with better skills than him that get no credit like Nonito Donaire for example. A knock out like that is career ending he actually went to sleep and they had to wake him up with smelling salts. Dead brain cells never come back and rarely a fighter is the same when they take a knock out like that. When he woke up they said he had no idea where he was and was asking what happened. They actually had to tell him what to tell Larry Merchant cause he didnt even know when he got knocked out or how.
