Forums - Nintendo Discussion - IGN gives Mass Effect 3: Special Edition a 9.5 out of 10! Says it is just as good, if not a little better than other versions. Game pad in for the win again!

I cannot see this game being a hit. Who wants to start at the end?

Good for Wii u owners, at least it is not a lazy port.

Mass Effect franchise is really fun. Get on this Wii-Uers.

That's a completed inflated score, considering the full situation of the title (late release, zero DLC support, etc.)

Reviewers make no sense to me... and I will gladly skip this title. Sorry!

Wait 9.5? I thought it was having sound and visual issues and what not? So its not a lazy port?

So much this.

The Wii Pad cannot help the Mass Effect truly set itself apart from the other consoles. This game was pretty much sent on the Wii U to die. This will definitely be one of the skipped games for the majority who have already played it on other consoles. Its the same  experience.

You do get an info comic type dealy with it. So you know what is going on. 9.5! Who does not want to play a game that gets 9.5?

One who can get all 3 games on either PS3/Xbox360 or PC for the same price.

But if you do not have one of those systems or want to try out mass effect 3 with the incredible game pad then you have no other better place to go. 200 for 360, plus 50 for all old games. Equals a lot of money.

Maybe for someone who doesn't care about the trilogy and wants to enjoy the last game, but the fact is the controllers extras isnt doing much. It's just a map you look down on and inventory controller. With a game like Mass Effect it always slows down for you, so you're always looking up to do the same things the Wii U is forcing you to look down to do.

tell me when they do a trilogy for the WiiU otherwise F*ck you EA!

Yup. I am pretty much the market for Mass Effect 3 on Wii U (I haven't played it on other consoles, but I am still a "core" gamer), but nothing they did with the Wii U version makes me want to get it for the Wii U. If I ever end up buying the game, it'll be at $15 off the Used games rack.
