With my family, work, and other activities, I can barely keep up with new games. But, I am glad Nintendo started the Virtual Console, it has allowed me to introduce games from my childhood to my kids. I've also rebeat pretty much all of them.

Funny people always mention how hard old school games are compared to newer ones, yet they fail to mention how short they are as well... mostly.

I do feel cleaner and all warm inside. Just hope 3rd parties realize they need to make money and support WiiU for the whole gen. Only time will tell.

I never said they would be exactly the same. But it was doable. I mean... BF3 on PC and PS360 are night and day differences.

AC would of had lower rez, textures, field of depth, etc. But it could of existed and I would have bought it. Same story and basic gameplay would have been enough. Hell, Vita has one and it isn't leagues better than Wii.

well they did do it on the PSP(although severely limited due to hardware restrains.. and PSP-WII gap is probably the same as the WII-Vita gap).. they probably could have made it.. but significantly downgraded.. maybe the developers just didn't want to release a game that didn't do the franchise justice on the Wii..

Honestly I would not even say half of the old school games are hard. Some of them are just very tedious due to graphical and technical difficulties. I think Virtual Console is actually better for kids, since they are familiar with Wii and not age old controllers lol.

For what? I have no intention of owning another Sony console and part of the value was the digital games DLC multiplayer on BF3, etc.

I will only buy another nonNintendo console if what happened to Wii, happens to WiiU... and that won't be for at least 3 years.. and then who knows what I'd get if anything. May just upgrade whatever PC I have then and just use Steam.

It was just ignorance. COD has done very well on Wii over the years. I'm sure Activision has been very happy with the investment in a proper engine to downgrade those titles.

but COD isn't open world.. and particularly impressive in comparison to AC.. it's really levels behind.. on the HD consoles alone.. I mean it runs at 60fps for a reason.. (shockingly it dips under that.. at sub HD resolutions.. it makes you wonder just how shitty activisions engine is.. that the games look like shit..)

I wouldn't trust third parties with Nintendo hardware to say the truth.
