Did anyone else watch the solo asian guy that they had demo'ing the Wii U for about ten minutes? I was surprised because he seemed like such a typical gamer. It made the Wii U feel incredibly realistic for every day use.

If you didn't watch that segment, basically it was a young asian dude in a sort of dark living room, and while he's using the Wii U, he gets hungry, grabs the tablet and browses the web or forums or whatever while he's eating in the kitchen.
Then, while he's playing Mario on his tablet, he turns the remote on from his Wii U and turns the channel to a soccer game so he's doing both at the same time.
Later, he's laying down on the couch, watching youtube videos, and then decides to put one on the big screen.. And while he's watching that on the big TV, he's able to look on his tablet for more videos to watch.

Advertising to single gamers everywhere!

Finally saw the whole thing (without subs). Yeah, I did saw the single gamer demo, I was like; I can see myself do that!
I knew the Miiverse would start out the way it did. Seems like the ones that are not assign to a game booted the system without a game disc in it... lol
I laughed my bloody buttocks off when Reggie spoke in japanese in the video chat demo. The american accent made it sound really awful, but I can see tried really hard, I'll give him props for that! XD
Loved the new footage of NSMBU! Can't wait for that!!!

@bolded. They did say since the reception was good for the feature in the US they were working to offer it to the other markets.

it was quite a nice presentation. i am sure there is time for another wii u direct in JP.

and maybe one in Europe too!

Miiverse looks really nice, I will definitely download it as soon as I get the console!
