Last time PS3 version of COD: Blops beat Halo Reach in NPD. Is there anychance this time around similar thing may happen?

Possibly, Halo 4 has a chance to outsell Blops 2 on PS3 lifetime but it'd have to do Halo 3 legs.

i dont think Black Ops 2 on Ps3 will beat Halo 4 on 360.

Eh, honestly it all depends on when the next Halo game comes out if they do the annual release thing then Halo 4 won't even reach Halo 3 numbers but if they make a new game every 2 or 3 years then Halo 4 will have awesome legs and probably sell more the Black Ops 2 on PS3.

Even with similar Halo 3 ltd numbers the two titles will have similar sales in US.

Maybe you are confuse because I did'nt write my comment is about Black Ops (PS3) and Halo 4 (360) but I think it was stated in the OP.

Fine let me rephrase it, It depends are we talking for the month of November? If so then Halo 4 has an extra week over Black Ops 2 so its a 50/50 chance for both games.

only npd territory? hmm hard to say, maybe they will be very even after a year or so.

I'll pick Halo4 as Halo games are much more front loaded than COD games which have much longer legs

I meant NPD USA and first week more importantly. They both will release next month 1 week apart we will easly guess who sold more first week thanks to VGZ and NPD.
