With the WiiU just around the corner, let's browse back at the few titles that didn't find their way to the west. The reasons could be varied such as limited appeal that didn't warrant a localization or the game's theme was too Japanese, maybe quality was an issue or the game was just too awesome to share!

Eyeshield 21: Field Saikyou no Senshi Tachi (March 8, 2007)

Puyo Puyo! 15th Anniversary (July 26, 2007)

Zaidan Houjin Nippon Kanji Nouryoku Kentei Kyoukai Kounin: Kanken Wii Kanji O Ketteisen (December 27, 2007)

Zero: Tsukihami no Kamen (July 31, 2008)

Captain Rainbow (August 28, 2008)

Taiko no Tatsujin Wii series (from December 11, 2008 to November 23, 2011)

Takt of Magic (May 21, 2009)

Ougon no Kizuna (May 28, 2009)

Chibi-Robo! Wii de Asobu (June 11, 2009)

Tales of Graces (December 10, 2009)

Zangeki no Reginleiv (February 11, 2010)

Twinkle Queen (August 26, 2010)

Earth Seeker (June 23, 2011)

Inazuma Eleven Strikers series (from July 16, 2011 to December 20, 2012)
Note: 2011 version was released yesterday in Europe (September 28, 2012).

Kiki Trick (January 19, 2012)

Dragon Quest X: Mezameshi Itsutsu no Shuzoku Online (August 2, 2012)

Anything esle I might have missed?

-----
I would have picked up PZ4, Takt of Magic, Zangeki no Reginleiv and Kiki Trick!

I would have bought a Wii for Zangeki no Reginleiv.

I never heard of twinkie queen O_o

I wonder how many western games never made it to Japan on the Wii?

Me neither! It came up while searching for the other videos of the OP. I'm sure there are more titles we don't even see... shit, remembering this weird vegetable one based on a TV show, lol!

I guess we'll have to ask Manuel or smbu2000? I know they have different versions of Just Dance and a fixed camera localization of Epic Mickey.

Tales of Graces and that Pokemon Wiiware game too

But nothing major in the list.
PSP is the only console this gen that kept a lot of "important" games japan-only.

According to Wiki... some more published by Nintendo:

Chibi-robo!
Eyeshield 21: Field no Saikyou Senshi Tachi
Line Attack Heroes
Takt of Magic

And that's it.

Takt is already in the OP, and Line Attack Heroes is a WW game. Was trying to keep it retail for now, but there are also a few WWs that didn't come over too such as the awesome Pole's Big Adventure.

Adding the rest you mentioned ~ thanks! (Maybe should lose the videos and just make it a list...)

What about this one:

Is this only first party games (your list is now complete) or any games?

If it's the second:
Taiko Drum Master games also never leave japan, which is a shame, imo.

Speaking of Taiko, the last holy trinity for the Wii is guaranteed not to come: Inazuma Eleven Strikers 2013, the new Taiko Drum Master ( Taiko no Tatsujin: Chougoukaban ) and most importantly, Dragon Quest X.

Hopefully Inazuma gets ported to Wii U and Dragon Quest XU comes west.

Earth seeker and Fatal frame 4 are the most interesting to me
Zengeki was a visual marvel but gameplay wise i dont know....

Added the title on a second or third edit, but thanks anyways!

Yes, any retail games. Added Taiko Drum and Inazuma Eleven (first one was released yesterday here).
I think Dragon Quest X is going to make it, but to the list as well.
