maybe because most of the wii games of the top 10 where heavily heavily bundled?

Explain to me how including "Wii" in the games title is misleading?

'Misleading' was a poor choice of words. I can't think of a better word right now.

When consumers see 'Wii' in the title, they think games without 'Wii' in the title aren't entirely Wii games. And so, they buy the games with 'Wii' in the title.  It's a (dirty) psychological trick.

Well, the explanation is very simple : PS3 and 360 have a large game library covering a wide array of genres and their respective owners have different tastes. Should I undig my thread about how Wii is least in million-sellers, 500K sellers and such?

You should update that thread, because I missed it.

I love how their is so much variation on different IPs in the Wii list :). Just saying.

*buzzer sound*

Incorrect. Besides Wii Sports, the games were no more bundled than the Call of Duties and the Halos on the 360 or the Little Big Planets and the Uncharteds on the PS3. You think of the 33m Mario Kart sales 25m were bundles?

Cherry Picking world champion.

So, you have no counter-argument.

Are you admitting defeat?

You're the defeated one. By a mile.

Playstation All Stars Battle Royale is the one you need to have a conversation with. That guy completely screwed your prototype of argument, and then I screwed you're takes at cherry picking.

Yes, I am that awesome.

I buy stuff for every console.....

And the reason hardcore Nintendo games sell better then 1st party MS and Sony games is because there are less alternatives. I think I have an excellent N64, GCN, and Wii Library and each only have about 20-30 games. My PS2 has closer to 50 games and my PS360 have close to 80 now.

So when 96 million Wii owners buy a Wii for Mario Kart, Zelda, Mario, Smash Bros, and Wii ___, well it's no surprise that 1 in 3 console owners owns a copy of Mario Kart (It's actually 1 in 3 owners for the last 3 console Mario Karts)

The big MS and Sony brands do well too, but with the HD twins selling as two separate consoles, and not as one, you can see why many sales are cut off.

Also, as a side note, the many of the Nintendo first party games actually don't sell that well at all. Metroid Prime 3, XenoBlade Chronicles, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, Paper Mario, Giest, Baten Kaitos, F-Zero, Starfox, etc, etc. It's only Mario, Zelda and Wii ___ that push out a ton of sales.

because there is not much alternatives?

Really? Let's just count the genres (because that's what's important, not if a game features a Mii character while it's vastly different).

XBox 360: 5 (it's even lucky to get that high, coincidentally all non shooter games are different genres)

PS3: 5

Wii: 6

Seems like the Wii's top 10 has the most differentiation to me. Just sayin'.

It's quite obvious really, Nintendo games are of higher quality which makes them better. Better games sell better.
