You should buy a 3ds and this is why:

1) Resident evil revelations
2) Super Mario 3d Land
3) Ocarina of Time
4) Mario kart 7
5) Kid Icarus Uprising
6) Paper Mario: Sticker Star
7) Luigi´s Mansion
8) New super mario bros. 2
9) Zero´s Escape virtue´s last reward
10) Layton´s games
11) Fire Emblem kakusei

What is this (bold)? Never heard of it. I really don't care about RE though.

Its the same type of game of 999, and made by the same creators. 999 is a ds game, its a text game, you should read the reviews, the ign one is a good one. The game is one of those cases of "amazing game not known by people".

Resident evil isn't as great as people think if you dont have circle pad pro smh. Kid icarus was not so good, cuz bad controls. Paper mario is still a dont know game seeing its new idea isnt sounding great tho i do want the gsme since i loved all the rpg marios especially the original paper mario. New super mario bros 2 is good but nothing new at all, had more fun on the wii game. Zeros escape virtues last reward is releasing on vita also and it looks alot better on it. And matter a fact the games release, it had a better vita first week then 3ds, yes outsold its 3ds counterpart first week in japan and in japan they have under a million vitas sold and like 4 to 5 mill 3ds. That says something. Layton games are only good to certain people, if you like to actually play games and not just think all day. That aint your game, virtue is only good if you like heavy rain type games. Fire emblem have a very small base, and disgaea is by far a better series. Fire emblem really onky has such a good name because smash. But 3ds has some awesome games like mario kart 7,sm3dland zelda oot3d wnd so on. But problem is apart from mario kart none of the game are not fun long term and most if not all are fairly easy games, like they made em only for kids 6 and under, even resident evil was fairly easy. Alot simpler then 4 and 5. Not to say they are easy or hard but around average. If tacticle games like fire emblem is tbis persons thing, disgaea has way more depth and is the best tacticle series out right now. Virtue is better to play on vita, and kid icarus aint worth the time with those horrible controls, i stopped and sold it after a hour lol. Kingdom hearts is the real must have on 3ds and mario kart, anything else aint really to important other then zelda or course lol

I disagree on almost everything you just said.

nothing wrong with that. But I'm curious, what don't you agree with? Because I'm sure most of what if not all is correct.

Resident Evil really needs the second stick to have a decent experience.

Virtue's Last Reward, is better on PS Vita by far.

Kid Icarus has horrible controls

Disgaea is the best Tacticle RPG series and is better then Fire Emblem and has way more depth

Most 3DS game difficulty level is too low. It really is, when playing games from nintendo and super nintendo where big.

This is completely opinionated when saying the mario kart and kingdom hearts is the only important games aside from zelda.

But it is a fact playing these games long term ain't happening because there is nothing to keep you playing on most games. NSMB2 tried but the BS you get for collection 999999999 was the stupidest reward for that amount of play, atleast a achievement or trophy would keep your honor lol.

And NSMB2 really is nothng new. Coin collecting is something i did all the time nothing new im a person who loves to complete everything in games. And flying because you have a raccoon tail doesn't make sense still to this day. Atleast everything else has a slight bit of logic behind it lol. And gold mario -.- smh bad idea. NSMBW had a better game and better suites lol

But guess nothing wrong with playing these, but as someone who plays nintendo and playstation, these things just seem so obvious

1) i played it without the circle pad pro, and it´s an amazing game

2)It´s not. You get the same experience.

3) They are not horrible controls. The game just have a learning curve bigger than most of the games nowadays.

4)Fire Emblem is waaaay better

5)NSMB2 Is nothing new? So the levels are the same as the ds and wii versions? Majora´s mask is  a spectacular game, and what are the differences with OOT? It´s not so different. A game doesnt need to change drastically from the last one to be good.

If you enjoy mario so much I guess so. You will get like 15-20 mario games for the device, so go for it.

I just played some and it wasn't very difficult to learn. It was just straight up not very precise. Often it feels like your constantly adjusting your view using the stylus, never reallly getting it to do what you would prefer it to do. It seemed fun, but visibilty was something to be desired. Thankfully its ease of difficulty made up for that shortcomming as you could find your enemies and eliminate them quickly. It's something I would want a CCP for, but I haven't used one of those and I'm not that found of circle pads to begin with. Anyway, it was good to see some Kid Icarus love.

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

That was even lower than Sony standards for Vita sales.

I thought the second post was from Dannesandin, not Turkish. Surprise!

haha w00t? We don't even have similar avatars or sigs :P

But anyways pezus, if you're only gonna play Mario games on the 3DS - just get a Vita; it's bound to get some good games soon (well, more of them anyway). I guess it all boils down to what kind of games you like the most.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

If you like Mario games, then the 3DS seems like a bit of a no-brainer purchase at $179. I don't really see it as much more than a handheld for playing Nintendo games, but that's really all the reason someone who enjoys Nintendo games needs.

If you really are a heavy PS3 user, then there are *potentially* a lot of reasons to pick up a PSV between Cross Play and Cross Buy. But even as someone who bought on on launch day and have already gleaned more use out of it than I did with the PSP (late buyer), unless there are titles immediately available worth buying a $250 handheld for, you may as well just wait until there are more titles, a price drop and all that Cross Buy/Cross Play stuff to kick in.

That said, it really is a fantastic piece of hardware and if I actually played handheld games for 30-60 minute sessions on a regular basis, I'd be using mine a lot more.

On a related note, I use the iPad more than any other device I own other than the MBP. Obviously not just for gaming.

It's a visual novel, and it's also coming to Vita if you're fussed about that kind of stuff.

In any case, have you gotten any closer to making up your mind, Pezzy?

I say get a 3DS, it'll compliment your PS3 more than a Vita imo. I do most of my gaming on PS3DS these days.

I've owned pretty much every major console and handheld over the years and I must say that the Vita isn't looking to great to me.

As people have already stated here it's an amazing piece of HW, it really is. For me the problem is it doesn't seem to have it's own identity. If I want to play Mario 3DLand or Kid Icarus etc I NEED a 3DS to do that.

This is why I acually think all this Cross Buy/Platform/Play between the Vita and PS3 is a negative. I don't want to buy a Vita to play something I can already play on my PS3. I'd rather spend that money on a 3DS with games that will be exclusive to that console.

I'm tempted by the Vita because I love Uncharted and want to play Golden Abyss, but I'm holding out for a while because I wouldn't be suprised to see it pop up on the PSN playable for both PS3 and Vita. The PSP God of Wars came to PS3.

I can see the Vita becoming a handheld of console ports.

Yes Pezus you should. Im a Nintendo fanboy but I still bought a Xbox 360. Its good to get fresh experiences with gaming every now and then. Plus there are some great titles for you to enjot. Its worth it.
