I think Wii U can manage to sell close to 4 million till the last week of this year.

judging from release date rumors that means it will have to average like 750,000 per week, which seems unlikely.

Vita may gain more than that too when you factor in the holiday

I don't know, 4M is a lot in just 6 weeks. Plus we've heard rumors that it might get delayed in Europe. I just don't see those kinds of numbers happening, especially since there isn't anywhere near the amount of hype the Wii U needs.

Not a chance. The Wii sold a total of 3M as of global release on Nov 19th/early Dec 2006. I don't see the WiiU selling more, but I could be wrong. http://www.vgchartz.com/weekly/39082/Global/

4mil isn't a lot in 6 weeks at all. The Wii and DS nearly made 2mil a week after all...

Anyway, could be close, but no. WiiU will easily sell around a mil a week though, so 5mil at year end. But the Vita should top that.

you are kinda basing the vita numbers from VGchartz and that is known to be over tracked by a great deal.

Can anyone put up xmas 2005 numbers for PSP from September to December 2005 ?

It was the first xmas with the PSP selling worldwide and it would give us a glimpse of what the PSVita could possibly do. I'm not sure of Sony standards for this holiday season sales but it might be close to the original PSP maybe ?

Well we can't do this anywhere else, as far as I know vgchartz is the only sales tracking website... Waiting for official numbers will take a while and we all know sony releases data according to units shipped, not sold to consumer.
