Forums - Sony Discussion - Kaz Hirai Leaves Sony Computer Entertainment Position (but remains as Sony CEO)

Sony has announced that Kaz Hirai has stepped down from his representative director, chairman role at Sony Computer Entertainment.

That's not to say he's leaving the organization as a whole, however, as he retains his position as president and CEO of Sony Corp. to which he was named in February.

Hirai will also be a part-time member of the SCE board of directors.

===============

I wonder who will take his role at SCE?

Maybe Sony should get Bobby Kotick to head SCE. He certainly knows how to make a profit.

As far as I can tell, he is still the president and CEO of the company. He just dropped his titles of "chairman" and "representative director."
