Here's a chance for you to mock the general fanbase from every point of the triangle. I want you to grab the most ridiculous thought, saying, philosophy, etc from the general consensus of each fanbase. Of course, some people are going to have a skewed perspective. But that's what I want. It'd be nice to have everyone's perspective in one place to compare.

You must list something from all three parties, so don't try to skip your favorite one. Also, no using specific names in your list. Also, keep in mind that these listings DO NOT refer to each fan of their respective fanbase. It's simply the most ridiculous one that is found in that fanbase a lot more than the other.

This is meant to be a light-hearted thread. There will be a few jabs thrown at each faction, but please don't be offended. Again, this stuff isn't meant to apply to every fan. A lot of the listings won't even be true. So, please take it easy. If you see something wrong, just laugh & move on. That's all this is for: Teh Lulz. This is all just meant to have some fun & share our opinions. I'll go first.

Nintendo fans: Their belief that 3rd Parties have grudges against Nintendo.

Playstation fans: Their belief that the quality of their gaming is drastically superior than the other two fanbases.

Xbox fans: The common saying that they're fine with Microsoft's business strategy because it's highly profitable for Microsoft and they get to play Halo.*

*It was difficult to pick one for Xbox fans as there are so few of them.

Nintendo fans: The belief that third parties have a conspiracy against Nintendo.

Microsoft fans: The belief that MS gives a shit about video games.

Sony fans: The belief that Sony has a fucking clue.

Sony Fans: Belief that a game being exclusive is practically required for quality.

Nintendo Fans: Belief that every single game ever should release on Nintendo systems and they somehow deserve it.

MS Fans: Belief that they are somehow better and more reasonable as a general rule than fans of the other two systems.

Nintendo fans: Nintendo's 1st party offerings automatically make it the best in the industry.

Microsoft fans: MS isn't being greedy at all with Xbox Live.

Sony fans: The PS3 was reasonably priced at launch.

The conspiracy is more viable than doubters give it credence. If they had an excuse with Wii, they didn't with GameCube, where the functionally-same-userbase Xbox got what GameCube didn't.

Holding a sincere belief that "core games" don't sell on Nintendo systems doesn't constitute a conspiracy. Whether or not it's true and, if so, why is a whole 'nother thread, but the idea that they withhold support because they just want to see Nintendo fail is a pretty prevalent belief and, IMO, a pretty dumb one as well.

Microsoft fans: Their fans think their first party efforts are actually in the same league and as varied as those by Sony.

Sony: Some of their fans won't admit that for a lot of third party games the xbox is better than the PS3 and some still think PS3 is a lot more powerful than the 360.

Nintendo: Their core fans tend to be so loyal that they think it's Super that Nintendo no longer caters to them ( at least where the companies' dedicated consoles are concerned), and they claim to love a lot of games that they  surely don't really like ( most of them with the word "Wii" as the first word in their titles).

Ninty fans: its already been said. But ill add that the belief that any game on the HD consoles could run on Wii it would just be low res

Sony fans: its already been said. This is hard, some believe that PS3 is still much stronger than 360

MS: the belief of Kinect capabilities.

on a side note i love how Mr.Khan came in reinforcing what has already been said. Bravo. And the GC actually had much better 3rd party support than WIi, BTW.
