Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Official Fire Emblem: Awakening thread- European DLC 16/5 out now!

And wow, almost ruined my pre-mature celebration.

Was not paying attention to my surruonding as I should have and I left someone with only 11 HP in an enemy's range. The mage was able to do 11 damage to me, but have a 70% chance of hitting.

WHen it went to attack, my heart just sunk. Thank God he missed. Very scary moment.

Gotta love those moments when the universe gives you a pat on the back, and then a kick in the nuts.

Yea, thankfully got out of the level with no casualties.

Man I love this game.  Haven't beat it yet, so don't know how the story is completely, but so far it is in my top fav and has chance to be best fire emblem

those feel great

So are you supposed to be able to grind on Lunatic? I finally tried it after Chapter 6 and Paralogues one and two. I first tried the DLC, then the weakest Spotpass battle, and then the random encounters that have been on the map for the past few missions. Each time only my three strongest units can do over 8 damage, whereas the enemies have over 30 HP.

The reverse, by the way, is not true.

I'm okay with playing this game like FE7, where most of your units never leave the bench, but at this rate anyone who sits out one mission is going to sit them all out...

That's what i've heard (i'm also trolling the TVTropes thread for this game), and basically the game just refuses to let you grind on lunatic.

From my memories of Hard mode, they discourage it with those super-expensive Reeking Boxes.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Booya, like 20+ hours at least and finally got my first 100% level up. You know, a stat increase in every stat.

A perfect level.

Have you ever had a zero-level, where nothing goes up? I have...

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Yeah I'm kinda stuck on Chapter 5 as my units just aren't strong enough, even with Fredrick super babysittin on Lunatic.

I never grinded on Hard cause it wasn't needed, but here your units are just way too weak.

Random Encounters and the first DLC are too strong to level off of.

I'm kinda stuck here....

This is Radiant Dawn Hard mode Part I all over again x10.

I just decided to make a second Hard mode file with the team I wanted to use for Lunatic.  I'll test em out had see how they fair and adjust if needed before I go back to Lunatic.  On Chapter 23 on my first Hard/Classic file though.
