Recently saw Funny people. Hilarious :)

Really? That is not what I got from the preview, horrible poster, reviews, etc of this movie. Also I do not like Jonah hill yet. But sandler usually puts at least some good jokes in his movies, so maybe I was judging the book by its cover? @ ninpie Toy story 3 was Meh to me. Re-hashed story fro. The classic The great escape, which we have seen in movies and Tv shows far too many times. If you want to see the ending, just check it out in youtube. Movie not worth it. But at least it was not as bad as cars 2. No originality and it was all about mater( let me Bart on a plate and serve it at a restaurant). Why did they put baby in the corner? Baby = speed mcqueen. I guess the age of the cartoon. That parents do not have to grit their teeth through are over.

Funny Pepople is pretty good its a lot better then Grown Ups and I don't even want to see Jack and Jill will probably pass on ever seeing Just Go with It also.

Interesting. I guess I just got a totally different read on that movie. Oh and sorry everyone about my last post formatting.

Jack and Jill was extremely mindless fun. I would not reccomend it to everyone though.

Just you tube dunk a chino to see what I am talking about with jack and Jill.

I have nothing to say about Just go with it. Obviously my gf wanted to see it. But I have a heart of stone and took her to see something else.

That wasn't that funny and going by how many Razzies "Jack and Jill" got that's probably the funniest part of the movies.  Also that scene probably won Al Pacino a Razzie for worst supporting actor.

@ chris

It is funny because the whole movie is full of him doing horrible this gs that he never would have done before! The same goes for that last scene, which was the funniest scene! :)

If that add would be a real add for Dunkin' Donuts it would be one of the worst commercials I've ever seen and for a movie that had a $79 million dollar budget it looks like they spend $10,000 on that scene and I'm sure that Dunkin' Donuts gave them a lot more then that for product placement.

You had to know there was going to be another G.I. Joe! Just look at the ending of the first. Looks good though.

Crap! There was one movie I was going to talk about but now I can't remember... well that is just awesome!

Let us start with the review!

IGN:

The Avengers is an utterly unique film – both the payoff to something being set up by five other movies, yet also the launching point for its own series. Yes, with so much to deal with and so many characters, it can get a bit messy. But Whedon does an excellent job of giving nearly everyone their due and mixing and matching these amazing characters in several different ways, bouncing them off each other both physically and mentally and charting just what these heroes have to go through to find their footing as a team. For those who worry that the Avengers might sound, well, too "Joss Whedony" or out of character, don't worry: While I'm a huge fan of Whedon's TV work, this feels more like an Avengers movie with Joss Whedon's touch than a Joss Whedon movie with the Avengers in it, and that's the appropriate tactic.

It took nearly a half-century to make it happen onscreen, but The Avengers was worth the wait, pairing together the perfect cast and perfect writer/director.

Note: For those wondering about the 3D, it's fine. This was a planned conversion - not shot in 3D, but with Whedon and the studio always knowing it would be converted after the fact, so at least shots could be conceived with that in mind. I found the 3D to be decent and at least not too distracting (as I find to often be the case), but certainly not necessary. If you see it in 2D, you'll save some bucks and can enjoy this great movie on its own.

I am really excited to see that movie this year!

Is this a completely different version from the 1998 one?
I guess, I just looked it up on imdb and it has nothing to do 60's tv show. All the better, the 1998 movie wasn't very good.
Good to know, I had ignored this movie so far based on how disappointing the last one was. Did we completely run out of original titles :/

That's what it was! The Avengers.

It looks quite good. My whole Family wants to see it in theaters. I wonder if it'll actually have a storyline though.

It will. Don't worry, the director is great!

Who is the director?

Joss Whedon. He's also one of the writers.

He's been affiliated with Toy Story, Firefly, Serenity, Buffy among other films/TV shows.

If he was part of Toy Story, count me in!!!!
