Those are all American made! All American born...   Heck we can go further, look at Guerrilla Games, Quantic Dream, Ninja Theory, and the guys that made Motorstorm... they are all European.. so im wondering why are you guys supporting a machine that has sold out from Japanese Gaming....   

It took the Japanese 5 years to make GT5, and look at "Team Ico" how many games have they made this generation? ...exactly...   face it people, Japanese gaming is old, it's tired, it's obselete, it's irrelevant..   Aside from Nintendo's first party which appeals to casual gamers...

Look at VALVE, Steam, Digital Distribution...   ARE THEY JAPANESE?   The Japanese still has to understand the concept of ONLINE GAMING.

So for all you folks wanting to hate on America, hey it's all cool because right now America is what is relevant to gaming, not only does America thinks so, Japanese and Sony themselves thinks so as well. If you don;t like it it's your problem, you just gotta deal.

I think the majority of us already think the Japanese gaming industry has gotten stale, so this isn't anything new. If it wasn't for Nintendo's gaming studios Japan would be almost completely irrelevant to most of us (not all, but most). 

As for SONYs studios, SONY Japan and team ICO can produce some top-quality games, but they take an unacceptable amount of time this gen and desperately need to get their shit together.

As for third party, the easy breakdown is: Compile a list of your top 10 games this gen. How many are Japanese? Now do the same for the last gen and the gen before that, and the gen before that. Almost everyone will have a lot less Japanese games in their list this gen then any gen before. Infact I think this is the first gen ever where most people will have a huge amount more western games in their list unless you're a Nintendo fan.

All Japanese games are terrible IMO. Especially JRPG'S, they are the lowest of the low.

NSMB: 28m sold for DS and 25m sold on Wii

Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus: 22m and 20m

3DS is the fastest seeling console of all time; 15m in one year.

Nintendo revolutionized gaming with the Wii - and look you followed quickly: AMERICAN Microsoft with their riposs KINECT.
