This is going to be one of the greatest troll threads in VGC history.

Who's going to be doing the trolling? :O

D21 won't troll us, he would never do that!

It'll be the Mass Effect 3 ending of VGC threads. *rimshot*

I haven't played Mass Effect 3 yet, I'm still working on the first. I heard Mass Effect 3 pulled an FFXIII-2. Is trolling your customers now a great new business tactic or something?

Anyway, I've predicted the verdict, it will be "everyone's a winner"!

It's not that nice, unfortunately.

I haven't actually gotten to the ending yet, but the rest of the game is ridiculously outstanding, including the multiplayer, so I hope I'm able to forgive it. It's the best parts of Mass Effect 1 and 2 combined and improved. Maybe Bioware will actually listen to the angry people and release a new ending as DLC.

Problems arise when you consider that it has a short battery life (I've use rechargeable batteries and I've had to recharge it twice already)

I'd like to believe that but we've been hoodwinked on this one.  I think they meant 480 without use and maybe 30 hours in use.  The battery that came with the CPP died after I finished the campaign in RE:R and was playing a lot of raid mode.  That's when I went and purchased the rechargeable Duracell AAA batteries.  The fully charged Duracell died one day last week during a marathon session of MGS 3.  31.5 hours of Resident Evil and 24 hours of Metal Gear is what my 3DS Activity Log says.  http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=4435991

Really? Super wierd. I've put in at least 25 hours into RE:R and another 10 in Metal Gear and mine is still going strong.

PS: Is your final verdict going to be just whatever wins the most categories or are you going to weight categories? For example, I care more about games and controls than everything else combined... squared.

He probably has a defective unit or a streak of bad batteries.

The only other thing I can think of (God, that Call of Duty ad is annoying.  I'm trying to type and the screen is moving up and down....) is that I often carry my CPP in my backpack.  Maybe a button is being pressed and draining the battery.  If it's only happening to me and nobody else, it's gotta be me, right?

So much rage was had. Why is there a MW3 ad? I know its dlc, but they've sold so many games its just ridiculous. Besides who needs to be advertised to for this?

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Lewis your posts are hilarious! Become a writer, You're great!

This, can't wait to read the rest of it. Things seem to be leaning towards the PS Vita for the moment, but the 3DS has more games, and games are the most important aspect, so you never know.

...Or he might end the thread with a cheesy "everyone's a winner...group hug!".

This is going to be one of the greatest troll threads in VGC history.

Agreed. I just don't understand how people do not see it yet. The guy already allowed the 3DS to drag a peripheral into the mix just the keep things competitive.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Finally today I tried the Vita! I played a racing game, quite simple and funny, although I prefer proper racing sims, but those are impossible with a portable, without wheel and pedals. I agree with d21lewis about the sticks being too loose and little, but hey, how hugely improved is their position compared to PSP, I felt much more at my ease and never got the impression that playing longer I would have got hand cramps like the first PSP-1000 I tried gave to me.
The screen is excellent, the back touchpad looks responsive, the shoulder buttons are good the other buttons and the d-pad small but usable, the User Interface of the desktop is easy, the one of the game I tried not as much and it will require reading the manual.
To sum it up, a HUGE improvement compared to PSP, and many other people looked interested (at one point a mom was trying it and refused to cede her place to her daughter! ), the only things really stopping sales could be price and the games library still small, it's good for a launch, but those that aren't early adopters will wait for more and possibly a little discount and a memory card thrown in.

I think you were really bitter when you wrote that part. I can't blame you though, because the responses you received through Swapnote when you showed off your PlayStation Vita weren't exactly kind.

  • You suck.
  • What a waste of money.
  • Traitor.
  • You are an idiot.
  • You should be ashamed of yourself.
And that's just a small sample of what I sent you.

Lmfao!  I'll just have to try and win you back with the "Games" section!
