The big question is "was he really integral, or just part of the process".
Sure his position was a key component, making sure everything is ready, everything is working...but I mean, dominance in Europe is a little exaggeratory. PS2 dominated in Europe, it's only logical that fans stuck with the brand, so it's really a question of how much of a key component was Phil?
Just to clarify, I'm not being that WHYDFML or anything, I'm just asking a question to your own rhetorical statement.
I acknowledge that Phil is a very good presenter, and is likely a strong businessman, but....they haven't had him for years, and Sony is doing better and better in Europe. Just look at those Vita numbers over there!

Sorry that is a poor excuse, Tretton is actually very dislikable guy. Also doesn't seem to make a great business man, because ps3 is very much distance 3rd in America. Add on top that he has some of the worse PR statements ever. I can see why Kowenicki said that.

I don't think he comes off as humble, more like depressed half the time. Infact I would say he is very arragant regarding competitor, that isn't humble at all.

I'm guessing Tretton is the main host at E3?
Anyway, I like that guy, I think he is very humble too.
