I wonder if a NFC device can simulate those NFC tags. I think it can... FREE extra content!

On the level of the protocol itself you probably could, but that doesn't mean you could replicate the data for a specific item. Just like you can't easily guess a credit card number....

Until you've played it, every game is a system seller!

If you have something that can simulate the correct RF signal, it could work. But someone got into a little trouble for trying to reverse engineer the Skylander figures.

I was reading about that after making the post, he figured both the codes and the dock. In some comments one person said he scanned the toys at the shop with his mobile phone and was able to replicate them afterwards (for some reason the toys have the bottom chip part uncovered due to possible demo uses).

Obtaining the data would only require someone to scan them and share the code online. Obviously these methods can be seen as illegal.

Totally agree. Also they should forget the Battalion Wars variant, they're not as fun as Advance Wars.

Nintendo on the hunt for 3rd parties! :D
Go Nintendo!

Nintendo has released the worldwide sales figures for a number of popular Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS games. The titles included are The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, Pokemon Black & White and Super Mario 3D Land.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D – 2.61 million (up 0.12 mil. from Dec.)
Pokémon: Rumble Blast – 1.08 million
Pokémon Black/White (DS) – 14.71 million
Mario Kart 7 – 5.24 million
Nintendogs + cats – 2.70 million (for comparison: the original Nintendogs – 23.89 million so far)
Super Mario 3D Land – 5.84 million (for comparison: Super Mario Galaxy – 10.68 million so far)
Nintendo 3DS console – 17.13 million units (up from 15.03 mil. in Dec.)

I think it'll come with more bulit-in software than anything else. Like the 3DS.

Confirmed, and looks better than ever.

For anyone wanting a new 3DS this Nintendo standard color (SNES, Gameboy Color, Advance and Gamecube) is the way to go, imo.
