I ask this because I've shown my Vita to quite a few people at work and all of them seemed to be under the impression that you can play any Vita game online at any time against people on the PS3.  I lied and said I only think two games support it so far.  Should have told the truth but I want them to think my Vita is awesome (haven't touched it in a couple of days, though)!  Anyway, ads like this don't do much to help people see the truth.  Opinions?

YES! Every ad I've seen gives this impression and I know its 100% false and just laugh at the poor fools who'll go spend $300 on a Vita just realize what it actually takes to get 3G service and then on top of that realize its just crap their phones already do. :/

I don't think it's that misleading as afterall, it clearly says your spot on the leaderboard is never safe. It does give off the impression that you can play Unit 13 coop over 3G though which, you can't (?). So perhaps, but in general I don't really think so.

Will be interesting to see what the boxart says and stuff as I think they're obviously not trying to communicate it too clearly either way.

The game in the ad is Unit 13 which is online everywhere. And I believe the games that can be played across ps3 and vita are wipeout, MVC3, blazblue, The show and maybe dungeon hunter alliance. The other games don't even have ps3 versions.

I don't see where the PS3 links into the advert. Or is this about not being able to game over 3G? Because that did seem misleading. Will 3G online gaming be available in the future?

I don't want to turn this into a PS Vita vs 3DS discussion, hopefully it can just stick to misleading ads, but I forgot to post this 3DS ad a while ago which pissed me off, it was quite misleading and arrogant.
