Forums - Sony Discussion - £10 for 12 months 3g data on your Vita, take a look UK owners.

Thought those interested in getting the PS Vita in the UK might like to know about this great deal. Bit of hassle getting it but it's just a couple of phone calls, and a friend with an iPhone needed. I doubt very much they check imei numbers when you call so your more than likely ok even if you call from an android mobile etc.

Basucally, £10 for 12 months of internet on your 3g Vita. Although Vodaphone is the official partner for the 3g version of the Vita in the UK, the actual system isn't locked to any network so there's no problem doing this. T-Mobile are very generous with internet and won't cut you off if you use over the amount they deem as the limit.

Around the Network

Would be all over this if my phone didn't cover my 3G needs.

So glad the Vita isn't locked to a specific provider.

this is gold

Vita have Skype?
If yes: Awesome!

Although I will not buy Vita anytime soon, mostly because of the limitation of 1 acc per system. If 2 siblings want to play the digital version of the same game, they will have to buy the game twice, without mentioning having 2 Vitas, which is stupid for people who don't play a lot of videogames.

Around the Network

This slams right in the face of companies who claim high costs for networks (I'm looking at you, O2).

EDIT: I've decided that I'm cancelling my O2 tomorrow. I've had a Giff-Gaff PAYG sim sitting around for a while, now. Data is so much cheaper.

Nice find, I'll recommend it to my friend who just got one.

The question is, what is the monthly data allowance?
