Congratulations SOPA I guess

Your sig is perfect for this! XD

I once hated his sig because I literally clicked ten times on it until I realized it's just a pic. Now I love it because I imagine all the other users making the same damn mistake as me.

... I'm a culprit of it too XD

Yay for my little fanbase

I wouldn't say it's a fanbase.... it's a trolled base! (wow super bad joke.)

Bummer.
Not used MegaUpload myself, but MegaVideo is (was) my second choice for watching old TV shows.

There a lot of legitimate users that got affected by this. People that purchased their services had no chance to get a refund, no warning and just got shut down. People are pissed at anon for shutdown other website.
Sure there are people that use it for piracy but their are people that use it for backups and documents with these services.

All the anti-piracy techniques had all fail because it punishes legitimate user rather than pirates.
DRM/ need-to-be single player / region blocks/ etc etc..
You make create value for legitimate users to buy products.
Itune has shown that people will support and buy legitimate music. Because no body really listens to the whole album because you only like 1-2 songs in the cd.
DVD and blu-rays: legitimate users have to watch non-skippible ads and previews and has region block to make the products that YOU own hard to use.

Companies should focus on creating value and benefits for buying their products.
You don't fight the pirates and hurt the legitimate users.
