Why remake FF X before VII/VIII/IX?

Small world, it already has voice acting etc.

I would love a full remake of FFX. I'm going to buy both versions, but I went with Vita, because it'll be really awesome to play this masterpiece on a portable gaming platform.

I want to have online/local multiplayer for Blitzball. Fix the math system in Blitzball. Team trades, more players to recruit, more detailed leveling up system for the players (allocating experience points to abilities, skills, stats, etc.), Free roaming airship instead of using a grid.

At least 2 new (optional) Aeons to find would be nice as well.

Final fantasy X still holds up pretty well today. New lighting engine, consistent use of cutscenes models, no aliasing and you'll have a great looking game with the default backgrounds.

Hopefully it doesnt take S-E 10 years to make it.

Considering they only have less than a skeleton crew working on it atm, I think it just might.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I guess it wouldnt be a real S-E game if it didnt take 7 years to long to make the game.

why is this a rumor? wasn't that what they always said?

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

I agree. TBH, FFX doesn't need a full on remake. I played the game again using PCSX2, with all its enhancements, and the game looked so much better already. A far bigger difference than most other re-releases. Besides, to actually remake the game would take a lot of the company's resources.  Resources that should be used on a new game instead, games like KH3 and FF Versus XII.

Final Fantasy X's texture work is probably Square's best work last gen.  On a lower scale it holds up pretty well to the texture work of Gran Pulse.

I played FFX in 2010 on the PS2 and to be its as good as some games on the new consuls and is like a Wii game.

Compared to other PS2 games from 2000, its look 10000X times better.
