Forums - Gaming Discussion - I want to buy Bioshock 2, should I buy the first too?

Hell f****** yes!

Yes getting both games would be a very good idea. The original bioshock is arguably the best game this generation. Probably won't feel as mind blowing as if you played it 4 years ago but it will still be one hell of an experience.

the general consensus is that bioshock 1 was vastly superior to bioshock 2.
i didnt play either though, i don't like horror games

Only if you like awesome games. And judging by the fact that it's 20fucking11 and you still haven't played BioShock, I'm guessing you don't. So, no.

I used to like awesome games, but then I took an arrow to the knee.

So now you play Skyrim instead?

Well, if you want to get back into playing awesome games (or at least technically competent ones), BioShock is a good place to start.

U can probably get it for dirty cheap and it's the best corridor shooter since Half-Life 2 so go and get it.

Steam copy will be 5 euroes for each of the games in a week during Christmas sale.

I bought it for $7. And I actually regret it. I still have interest for the B1. But playing only B2.....nothing made sense for me. Also, I hated the A.I., too much dumb and predictable.

the second isn't as good as the 1st but it is a must play. if you have a PS3 then get infinite for it so you can get the first one free. i remember hearing something about them being on the same disk.

Play the first one first, although there isn't enough storyline that not playing it will put you at a disadvantage.
