Anyway, I guess exclusives are good when you're deciding which console you want to buy. Personally, I have every console so I can play whatever I want. Because of that, Sony's exclusives don't tend to register on my radar. And even when they do, they're usually second to some third party offering (with the exception of Uncharted, Heavy Rain, and God of War). My favorite PS3 game isn't even made by Sony. It's made by Sega.

Anyway, nothing wrong with a little pride in your console. Just realize that some people may feel differently. That's why they chose some other option.

And I'm ioi. In which case, I order you guys to stop lying to me. I wasn't born yesterday, ya know? You can't troll me so easily. In fact, I'm a little offended that you guys believe that I'd believe such absurd allegations. I thought some of you were above that? Honestly, if you're going to troll me, at least post some credible evidence to sway my position. Not these irrelevant links and baseless statements.

As a Sony fan I think Nintendo is a little bit better in the exclusive department.

As much as I love PS3 exclusives and I think they are the best, you lost all credibility when you tried to defend that Jak 4 is coming with no proof, and next year no less.

Its all a matter of taste. For me, I tend to like sony's mix of family and adult IPs than either nintendo or MS's exclusives. 2011 was a great year for ps3 owners in the number and variety of exclusives we have had and I am very happy.

I'm happy you enjoy them.

Personally Sony First Part are of the meh crowd. I prefer playing M$ exclusives. And I love sci fi, so Sony is not a good choice for me.

But hey, guys, why do we need to argue ala "My console's better than your console nah nah nah nah nah *rasp*"?

The only problem with this logic is that Nintendo is using essentially using the same IP for almost every example of these games. And I mean hell if you love Mario you're in heaven but for people who have outgrown, gotten bored, sick of the same old,etc .  A Mario game just doesn't do it for them anymore. 

I mean if I wanted to play Mario games, Nintendo has plenty of great options.  If I don't?  Not so much.    Sales and critical acclaim are great and all (And they are very good games) but honestly?  One round of Mario Galaxy was all I needed.  Brawl was almost identical to the Gamecube version.  I've done generations of Mario IPs and personally have reached a point of saturation.

 

I would agree that the Mario IP is the largest in the industry and nothing comes close to it.  But when speaking as an array of exclusives?   Sony has pretty much had this on lockdown since it's inaugural PSOne release. The overall compilation of variety appealing to a broad audience has always been the strength of Sony (From an overall perspective and a personal perspective).  PS3 looked like it wouldn't achieve this in it's first few years, but it has grown quite a bit.
