I didn't believe the 360 could have its peak years or overtake the PS3 for total sales for the year, I'm beginning to think I may have been a little foolish doubting Microsoft's PR. Theres still a long way to go but there is a few milestones these sales have given the 360 a chance of hitting now. If nothing else it should make the sales threads a lot more interesting for the next month.

Just to reflect guys, the sales for the Wii and possibly the PS3 aren't too shabby either, on the whole it's good news all round for the videogame industry in America.

What do you guys think the ratio was for 4GB:250GB versions? Why do so many people buy the 4gb version when they probably will have to upgrade the HD or buy usb drives?

Does MS ever cut the price of the 250gb version for the holidays?

I'm sick of the fanoys from sony bringing up crap about "not enough supply" and just making excuses why the ps3 didn't sell so well.... It's a 360 thread about sales, say something more like, "Wow, good effort!" or "Didn't expect that many!" and move on and maybe make your own thread about it in the sony section.

@ijigga I don't think so - you could just remove hd and then send in for repairs. I bought my arcade for $199 at walmart and they gave me a $100 gift card (1 day sale), Then I spent $65 on ebay for 120gig hd - so I was out $165 for a 120gig 360. (This was a couple of years ago).

Because Sony didn't announce any PS3 numbers.  If they want to talk actual numbers, they have to come here or on a thread about the Wii numbers.  Or start a thread complaining about Sony not releasing any numbers, especially considering they had a price cut a few months back.  Who cares if you're 3rd place, the numbers at least have to be an improvement over last years BF for them, right?  RIGHT???  Right ......... ?
