Sony will have to use 3rd party characters cause apart from characters like Nathan Drake, Kratos, and a Hellghast........Sony IPs really aren't timeless and memorable, only with diehard fans.

That game looks awesome, I'm gonna get it. =D Plus it's made by the same people who made Jump Ultimate Stars and Bleach DS 2nd which are 2 of the best fighting games ever.

Be good to see some good third party characters in this, big daddy!!! (If it's possible)

Well good luck,i have no idea how i'd find it while googling it, it seems to be rare as all hell, but i'm happy i still have it in my possesion =)

I seriously have a lot of games on the genesis that i don't actually know what they're called (since the writing is in japanese) i used to just pick up games on how they looked in the covers, and most of the stuff is japanese, lots of stuff is probably very rare now

Thats just not true

The thing is its just an opinion, same as yours, which in itself is just a statement......neither true of false. 

But if I think so, and I doubt I am not alone in thinking that Sony IP's just don't measure up to the major cast members of Smash Brothers........then thats tuff luck if you don't agree. 

Include Wander from SOTC and its day one for me.

I'll reiterate that it has the potiential to be great. However, I do hope that the smash style of play is utilized as well. I would be less excited by a strait-up life bar such as seen in that Yu Yu Hakusho title.

Also, there are PLENTY of great characters in the Sony stable, I just hope we see some of the less obvious ones as well.

A slight look into the characters of Brawl:

ROB was a peripheral for the NES

Game & Watch hasn't been in a game since '91

Ice Climbers came out in '85

Pit hasn't been in a game since '91

Toon Link is just Link cell-shaded (yes I know he is slightly more different but it is the same character)

Ness and Lucas since '95

Snake and Sonic are not Nintendo owned

What I'm trying to say is that Nintendo definitely had to dig kind of far and deep to flesh out the roster for Brawl, and after playing these games we have learned to love them!  Sony can do the exact same thing.  All the people complaining and saying that Sony doesn't have enough iconic character, all I have to say is I bet they can dig far and deep to bring back some old favorites and incorporate third parties.  And after playing as them we will learn to like them too!  And since Sony hasn't been around as long, all of their characters will atleast be more relevant than Ice Climbers, Game & Watch, or Pit...and especially R.O.B.
