Sounds like Sony is out of money for this kind of thing. Which is understandable, considering the exchange rates that will only get worse.

Except that,

Sony almost never pays cash for stuff like this.

Going off your previous post, I then say Sony can't afford to charge lower royalty fees anymore. Doesn't change my point, but probably sounds better to you.

Right...Because Sony is broke.

I saw Kaz at the welfare office getting his welfare stamp card.  I would have taken pictures, but I don't take pictures with the common folk.

Alright, explain to me why a third party publisher would forego giving the PS3 version of a multiplatform game a more or less worthless bonus that would net them a benefit when it comes to royalty fees.

It's more reasonable to assume that Sony says that they won't be offering benefits and that's why third parties (in this case THQ) make the 360 and PS3 version equal.

Considering EA's offer also magically disappeared, it sorta makes sense. All that is left now is Ubisoft's offer.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

I knew that was never going to materialised when they only had a logo to show...

If Sony hadn't spent so many millions and millions of dollars in the 90's moneyhatting Nintendo and Sega into the ground, they wouldn't be broke and could buy their way to the top again. This is karma for all the shit they used to get away with when they had $40 Billion+ and Nintendo had about $1 Billion, Sega had even less money. Sony brought all this dirty shit into the console business and now there's a bigger asshole in town with deeper pockets.

Serves them right.

Sure they did, sure they did.

I agree with your "bigger asshole" statement though.

I'm not going to come off very well defending SONY in one post and criticising Microsoft in another am I? ...I'll do it anyway.

A few weeks ago, something came out about Microsoft's policies, I'm not sure how it came about or who mentioned it but Microsoft has a policy where if a multiplatform game has any extra or exclusive content on another platform then they will refuse to have the game on their system. It's a very dickish and hypocritical move in my opinion, and many people were wondering how long it was before all the PS3 extra content confirmed at E3 would dissapear. Considering that tonnes of exclusive content has just dissapeared, people are just putting two and two together.

we don't know what happened so its obviously ms's fault...

Anyway even if it does turn out to be true, then its just microsoft protecting its customer's interest

Sony needs to take a similar stance. Console exclusive dlc is stupid if the game is the same on both consoles and microsoft is trying to make sure its customers get the full version of a game.

yea this does make sense being that Saints Row was on Xbox before PlayStation

i think it would be cool if Sony did the same with games like Grand Theft Auto since it is a PlayStation known franchise aswell

oh wait.. *remembers what happened with GTA 4*

Agent is still in development right?

OT: hmm i wonder what will be the next multiplat game ps3-exclusive-content confirmed this happens to next?

*looks over at Bioshock Infinite and SSX*
