I am sorry, but apparently you missed the point of your own thread when you wrote the paragraph about Nintendo games. If the thread isn't meant to be about anything business related, you should leave any talk about money out of the discussion. I have no problem with talking about how Wii games can look better on the PC and the like. If I had, I would have jumped on you everytime you brought up the Dolphin emulator in the past (and you know that you did do that a lot).

I have no idea what your problem is today but I don't really feel like getting in to a pointless argument here.

That wasn't meant in an insulting manner. Read your thread title and Nintendo paragraph again. They are missing the point of your thread which is:

"The point is for people who know the strenghts or PC gaming to discuss which non PC games would work best on that platform."

I am just trying to explain why I replied to your thread the way I did and you should see that you are not without fault in this. That is all and there's nothing else that needs to be said from my side.

Ok, maybe my resoning for Nintendo games getting ports was not the best... However I do believe Nintendo made PC ports of a few key Wii games would sell very well on the PC if done right. They are really great games that anyone can enjoy on any platform. Maybe from the overall business perspective it doesn't line up with Nintendo's strategy, however I have a feeling they will have to change that in the next few years.

Not to mention it would be really sweet to play Metroid Prime on the PC :)

And it really doesn't have to be all about visuals with the PC. There are other things PC and its community can bring to a game. Look at GTA4...the amount of customization that game has had on the PC is staggering.

MAG - would have really benefited from the extra horse power both visually and performance wise
the HUD UI would have been greatly improved, streamlined, easier to access commands with the wide array of inputs of the keyboard; commanding troops, selecting voice channels (speaking with squad, platoon, and company all had dedicated voice channels), calling in Air Strikes can be overwhelming on the Dual Shock.

most FPS this gen had been Console to PC ports, MAG to me was a PC game on consoles

PC gamers deserve nothing.

Having said that, asking Sony , MS and Nintendo to put their exclusives on PC is stupid.

uh, why is that?

because they are selfish arrogant ungrateful elitist snoobs. not all of them of course, but majority on the internet

I have to agree with Rol on this...

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Halo Wars - RTS games works best with Keyboard and Mouse, no discussion here. (although Pikmin and Little King Story showed that the wiimote also worked well).

Please excuse my bad English.

Get yourself an Xbox 360 if you want to play Alan Wake. It's a great game. Stop wishing it was on PC. It wouldn't be better on PC. Xbox 360 didn't hold it back, the devs did by working on it for 7 years.

PC has it's exclusives. Should they go to the consoles while consoles exclusives go to PC?

Maybe all platforms should have all games. Maybe there should just be one platform and Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and all the 3rd parties could just make games for that one super platform.

It could be called Platform Comprehensive, P.C. for short.

What a wonderfully non-competitive market it would be. PC gamers would be happy because all the silly console kids would be PC gamers like them. Sorry, I mean P.C. gamers like them.

What's the point of exclusives anyway? It's not like consumers choosing between products causes positive growth through healthy competition. And it's certainly not like if you want to play games unavailable on your platform you can just go out and buy another platform. I mean, we all know that by law, we have to choose one single platform and act like the rest are evil and ruining gaming.

It's fanboy wars or nothing right? Death to those don't get to play the games we claim to hate!

You missed the point of the thread by a mile... Its not about PC stealing "exclusives" from consoles.

The point is for people who know the strenghts or PC gaming to discuss which non PC games would work best on that platform. You obviously don't have a clue about features that PC's can bring to your favorite console games, and thats fine... Things like mouse and keyboard, enhanced visuals, great 3D effects, multiple screens, Steam could enhance many console specific games.

BTW I do have 2 360s and have bought and beat Alan Wake within the first week of it coming out. Its a good game, but it would have been a better experience on the PC.

This shows that even in a non offensice, positive thread someone will come and take issue with it.. You an rolstoppable need to relax, no one is attacking your favorite videogame console manufacturer in this thread.

Look, I built my PC. It has 16 gigs of RAM, a 6 core AMD, 2 decent video cards set to SLI, and dual monitors. I can play any PC game I want in mid to high settings. I'm about at nerdy as it comes when talking about PC tech. Some of my all time favorite games are PC only and there are a few games that I prefer the PC version to the console version. The PC has a lot of advantages, but consoles have a lot of advantages too. But I don't want to see console 1st party games go to PC. Alan Wake would not be better on PC.I'm not a console gamer or a PC gamer. I'm a gamer, and an old-school gamer at that. I've seen it all and played it all. I think Microsoft should stop releasing Xbox games for PC altogether. Fable and Halo and other 1st party games should be Xbox only.

The whole point of 1st party exclusives is to get consumers to buy the machine that they are on so they can reap the benefits of license deals with 3rd party publishers. PC devs don't have to pay MS to release PC games unless they buy tech directly from MS. Besides, if everything was multiplatform, then the market would devolve into a single platform and that would suck. Only PC fanboy elitists want a PC only world. I'd rather there be more competition than less. I want Sega back, and Atari. I'd buy it all and enjoy the best of all sides. But even as convenient as having them all on PC would be, I can think of nothing worse for the industry than homogenization.

Hey, I know. Let's list the PC exclusives we want on Xbox 360. How about Hard Reset? Console fans would eat that game up and make it so much more popular. Or how about S.T.A.L.K.E.R.? It's just screaming for a console port and full Xbox Live support.

Oh wait I forgot, in this thread we only care about exclusives getting ported to PC, not the other way around.

Amen , speak the truth .

Thanks, I'm glad somebody knows the truth when they see it.

I didn't pick games cause they were console exclusives. I really don't care if a game is 360 exclusive or Wii exclusive or that it is made by a first party to sell consoles. I own all of the consoles and am able to admit that PC would make a number of console only games better...including alan wake.

All I was hoping to list is games that never made it to PCs, regardless if they are one console or multiconsole exclusives. If you guys can't see past your console exclusivity flame shields, and don't like the thread or have nothing to add, maybe don't post?...just a suggestion.

What game is Steamworks?

Sorry, I meant Hard Reset. I always get it mixed up with steampunk since it's cyberpunk and gritty. So I get it mixed up with a steampunk book. But console gamers would love Hard Rese, it could easily find an audience beyond PC.
