The Simpsons used to be really good in its early days, but it started going downhill after probably like 6-7 seasons.

Animaniacs, The Mask, Dungeon and Dragons, Freakazoid, Pink and the Brain, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and the Simpsons.

I don't know if they're earlier or later than the 80s, but hands down the Flintstones. Pretty clever humor.

Smurfs and the Adventures of Teddy Ruxbin also come to mind.
