Thanks guys, thats really impressive stuff. I know tales is very well known and relevant but its amazing how often Sony has japan-centric games propelling them to the top of both the hardware and software charts.

I say kudos to Sony, the more effort they put into Japan now, (as seen with all the cool japan stuff at tgs) the more guaranteed boost they will get in comparison to the competition.

Microsoft and even Nintendo can not compete in japan the way Sony can. There is no way Sony's japan sales tactics can backfire.
