SSBB will outsell melee by september, max october!! lifetime sales of abt 15 million.

It will have massive legs, but no idea how massive!! Could probabely outsell Wii Fit, U HEARD ME!!

And will debut world wide(includng Japan's first week) at 3 million.

Game of the year?? no idea at all. But should win it!!!

I think Wii Fit will win GoTY. Anyways, I think Brawl will surpass melee by the end of June!

Except for the 20 million worldwide, none of those predictions are really that crazy.

i agree...most ppl (sony fanboys esp) are really underestimating the mighty game known as SSBB!!!!!!!!

Well I was talking specifically about Snowboard Kids which you can turn them off in... but I really don't find anything like that a problem, maybe it was slightly more annoying in MK64 because of the terrible acceleration.... but things like that I find easy to adapt to.

My problem with MK64 is that it is a 3D game but it seems to control like a 2D game, I know the karts were simply 2D sprites so maybe that was the reason.... and yes, Rainbow Road sucked... considering I haven't played the original Mario Kart the best version of Rainbow road I have played is in fact the one on F-Zero X.

And no it wasn't Green Plant I was thinking of... Though yes the Mobius Ring track does do that too, it's Casino Palace:- Double Branches, in the Emerald Cup.

I guess I am easily annoyed by extras that cost you too much time. Funny that you mention F-Zero X's Rainbow Road, because it is exactly the same as in Mario Kart 64, except that X doesn't have rails throughout the whole track (and of course extra blocks, refill zones and bumpers are differences between the gameplay of both games). I like the Rainbow Road of the original Super Mario Kart the most, because it has no rails at all and more important it isn't as long as in the other Mario Kart games.

Yes It is the same, except MK64 has absolutely no hazards, and on 50cc i think it took about 2 minutes just do do 1 lap, so it was dull, wheras the one in F-Zero X is of course massively fast (I think I had my record speed of 1800+ on it) and at many points has no rails.

And I just put in GX, it was definatley Casino Palace: Double Branches I was thinking of... It's such a great track... If they bring back old tracks for F Zero Wii I definately want that in, as well as Aeropolis: Multiplex (Which the music for is in Brawl ) maybe Lightning: Loop Cross, and the trident one in diamond cup (hopefully spiced up a bit, because it was a bit bland on the easy setting)

Without the cheap shortcut, MK64's Rainbow Road was about 7 minutes long (3 laps) on 150cc. Don't start bragging about F-Zero X records, you'll likely lose against my times and speeds (record speed 2500 on RR).

I must say, you have a weird taste, I didn't like the tracks you mentioned, except for Aeropolis. Green Plant: Intersection and the first Big Blue track were my favorites.

I wasn't bragging Roland, I was merely pointing out it was a very fast track, I can't say I care about your records because I am quite sure any game that we both have you will have better records.

With Double branches I just like the fact that at the beginning, the track splits and you are racing below the rest of the pack, but also if you get to be half a lap ahead (or behind) the other racers are on the underside of the bit of track you are on.... perhaps it could have been made more interesting besides this.  I also like the first Big Blue Track, but I am not keen on Green Plant:Intersection, I liked the idea but I don't like too much tunnel.

I think we have gone totally off topic.
I still think Mario Kart Wii will outsell SSB:B.

^which actually arn't even that crazy

Well my predictions were crazy before. I made these predictions a long time ago and no one really belived me then and were laughing. WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!!!!

@Wiiforever, You wanna bet that Wii Fit won't be GOTY?

@ Mario Kart Fans, I'm sorry but this thread is not about Mario Kart. If you wish to discuss that topic further then why not make your own thread?

Bet with OriGin: Within 1 year Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be ahead of Mario Kart Wii (when aligning the one whole year from each region). 2 week ban from Vgchartz for the loser. Edit: Darn! Looks like OriGin will win.

Hurray! My Prediction for America was correct! (Okay so I was under a bit, but still) It simply needs to sell 300k in Europe/Others for my worldwide prediction to be correct, and it will definately sell much more than that! Plus as of now, it needs 2.6 million to outsell the Original (Which it will get easy) and 4 million to outsell Melee. Also so far in WW it has not dropped below 30k, even when it wasn't out in America yet!

I think it will sell 6 million by sep 31 in japan and america alone. I also reckon on 8-10 million ww by the end of the year. I reckon it will hit 15 million in 2009 and lifetime I say 20 million.
