Forums - Sony Discussion - PSP Sales increase in U.S.

I guess it's not dead after all!

http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Portable-3000-System-Sony-PSP/dp/B001KMRN0M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1312546268&sr=8-1

The PSP 3000 has been steadily climbing its way to the top 10 on amazon. What's going on? No new game releases I think. Are people thinking this may be a PS Vita for a super cheap price? Or do they just think its a great value? It's even above the DS, DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS.

I know that amazon doesn't fully represent the entire U.S. market but it sort of gives us a good idea of what people are buying and what's popular.

For some reason I have the urge to buy one as well

All the other consoles have multiple skews selling well. While the second best selling psp skew is the psp go at 400th place.
