Forums - Nintendo - Crazy thought...

If the wii 2 has a touch screen on the controller, could it be compatible with ds games? (through way of virtual console)

For example, it uses the tv as the top screen and the controller as the bottom...

Well, if nothing else, this thread reinforced my belief into Nintendo. I consider many of their actions in the past couple of years questionable or outright stupid, but you have just shown me that it could be much worse.

What, you do not to see a 4 inch screen stretched to 50 inches in HD!!!!!!!?

Well Iwata outright said that won't happen, but even hypothetically, it wouldn't work due to synchronization issues with several games. I mean the games that work on both screens at once.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Touch screen? Like a Ipad?

I had thought there would be a chance that the Cafe console would be able to run 3DS software.

I'm having a deja vu.

That would be great. I would never buy a 3ds if this were the case lol.

Yeah, we are all very eager to pay good bucks to see pixelated DS games on widescreen TV.
