Forums - Sales - X360 HW Shipments since Launch, Profits and Losses Chart

Thought this info might be useful to some people, I know Slimebeast is always asking about 360 profits!

Had to update my first chart, I subtracted £225 insted of added it to the 360 profits, all up to date and correct now though.

Basically half a year it should be all taken care of. 360 is a success! :P

Well, a lot of dud products in EDD, more so than successful ones. I imagin that Kin project killed the profits a fair bit.

I'll say with confidence, the 360 project/ecosystem is overall profitable and a major succes for MS, and they could end up with anywhere from $1 - $3 billion profit from it when all is said and done.

Dang the 360 made a killing for this quarter!

And there's still a quarter left in this FY, making that last figure ever more impressive.

EDD includes some other stuff, too, though, right? So, in theory, these could be extremely diluted data only partially affected by the profits (or lack thereof) of the 360.

Doesn't include Sony's final Q for their FY (coming May 25th), or Microsoft's (coming July 21st)

Is this solely hardware profits, or does this account for profits from software too?

And how about software numbers??

Really, what do you think? Since when do the big 3 seperate their profits ect into anything. It's their gaming divisions entirely.
