That's a good start for Portal 2 on PS3 compared to 360.  Most titles from developers who are seen as previously 360 centric seem to struggle (like Bulletstorm most recently) on PS3 but Valve pulled it off.

Mind you, from the moment Gabe himself ate humble pie at E3 I knew they were going to make sure by the time Portal 2 launched most PS3 folks who might be interested would be happy to embrace the title (free PC/Mac copy also helped I'm sure).

Good sales for 360 of course, both console and Portal 2.

For a game with no shooting and a quirky style it's opened well and of course we can't see the Steam sales, which I'm sure will be strong.

Poor Valve (leaving Sony aside for a moment) as the PSN debacle has somewhat soured Steam hitting (or rather failing to hit) PSN.  I'm curious to see how it feels but can't at the moment.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

Wow VGC must be really desperate to make sure that 3DS won't be in last place WW to post PSP number like this afterwe saw this:

Not sure why you would think that, that chart shows that the PSP sold around 40k in march, if anything it looks like PSP should be adjusted down, i think possibly your mistaking that for a weekly sales graph when its clearly a monthly sales graph.

If you took 5 seconds to look at 3DS number it should be pretty obvious that those are NPD monthly numbers divided by number of weeks in a given month.

Have the adjustments happened for America? I mean, surely, they should have...

And yeah, the sales in the graps are average Weekly sales.

xbox still kicking ass

not to bad of numbers. surprised that sony had a slight boost. are these numbers from after the psn outage? wonder what they'll look like next week?

I think we can safely assume those PC Portal 2 numbers are very undertracked without Steam - anyone want to make some wild guesses @ Portal 2 Steam numbers? I expect decent legs with word of mouth future steam sales.
