Which of those has a six inch screen in addition to dual analog sticks and buttons?

While the new controller sounds cool, doesnt it go against the concept they pushed this generation with getting up and interacting with your games? This sounds like they think their idea sucked and going to back to traditional controller styles for developers and gamers.

One more thing:

Fuck Nintendo. They have given up on the revolution in favour of having industry support, which they will never really have anyway. At best they will be hurt badly for one or two gens and maybe will come back one day.

I have a strange feeling. I think this is a battery powered console.

It adds up when you see that they are decoupling from the TV (screens on the controllers), and that the lifestyle in Japan no longer supports the home console (seemingly). I think this is Nintendo's bizarre way to try and compete with the HD consoles in the West and PSP in Japan simultaneously.

It won't be a 6 inch screen. I it will be the top 3DS screen and not really any wider than it as well.

This is what i'm thinking. In part it could actually be very much a product of Nintendo's long-term thinking about the health of console gaming (at least in Japan), and them trying to combat irrelevance on that front, while at the same time releasing something that breaks down barriers to being able to play on consoles as it is (needing a TV that other people aren't currently using)

The question is if this is purely a tech move, or if they've got the software to make this really shine

If the rumors are true (and contrary to what some   people   here seem to think, they haven't been confirmed yet), then yes, I think that's almost exactly what it means.
