Leaked email details Final Fantasy VII for NGP

We’ve just received an image of an email which  reveals that Final Fantasy VII is in development for NGP. In what appears to be an official email from Square Enix looking to recruit a translation team for the game, details pretty much everything that the game’s going to contain.

The email mentions lots of tweaks especially to suit the new portable from Sony. Enhanced visuals and battle system being the key components for change. This is a huge news if true and will give the NGP a solid boost that can change the tide for Sony.

The game also features remastered music, which should suit the NGP well due to an advanced DAC. Regarding the battle system, they say its a tweaked version of the FFXIII battle system. Two analogue sticks should come in handy here and for me, FFXIII had the best battle system in the FF franchise. It was fast, accessible and looked stylish. FFVII deserves a great remake and this is looking like one, and we request you take this email with a pinch of salt. For more details take a look at the image below. E3 2011. Believe.

Although, this is just an rumour as yet, but considering how well written, this email is, it won’t be a surprise if this proves out to be true. Let us know your thoughts below.

Update: The email was sent to us by a reader and we’ve not confirmed that this is true.  Also, no, we’ve not made up this email, all by ourselves.

I thought April Fool's was last week.

I can only imagine as much disappointment coming from this as jubilation, just because there'll be a lot of people yelping about how much better it would've been on the big screen.

I don't know if we could call it a "tide-turner," though it'll definitely be as big for NGP as, say, OoT will be for the 3DS

Come on. When recruiting translators, I'm quite sure it's standard practice to list bullet points as if you're trying to sell them the game. THIS IS REALZ!

Would also like to add that this is obviously fake.

If they're implimenting the FFXIII battle system, then you have no way to use the magics/summons/support Materia's that you wish to use at a certain point. There are just too many combinations you can make with Materia that you can't possibly put it into a system like XIII had.

There are way too many enemmies that can OHKO any character, so if Cloud (Or whoever is leading your party) gets hit by a death spell/hit, you're screwed.

XIII can go to hell.

So can NGP.

It makes perfect sense , all ff remakes have been on handheld consoles .... Please be false  :(
