ROFL @ some of the 360 fans response.

As fortold KZ3>crysis 2,I remember b4 release theres  a lot of bragging and hype how crysis 2 will trumple X game graphically(mostly Ps3 exclusive) then after a couple of days BAM, hyped up "new graphics king"fails to top the said PS3 exclusive and the tears starts pouring in.

happens all the time(alan wake any1? the uncharted killer?) but dont worry Uncharted 3 is still to come and you can bet your ass this same senario will happen ALL OVER AGAIN.

Crysis 2 is the first attempt at having a PC type game environment on console. In other words non streamlined, corridorr shooters.

Framerates and other simpleton tests that these guys perform maen nothing other thean some end user tests.

You will call this out as people being sore losers.

Reality is, no tests were done for how much was realtime rendered. Or the fact that KZ3 does not have to compute Global illumination etc.

Crysis 2 when it stretches it's legs, no console game comes close. I agree that there are moments in Crysis 2 were it looks just good not wow. But the engine is the same throughout. It's designed to be able to handle the huge moments it has whilst still ingame. Not going to some cutscene or having a 10 ft wide corridor as a level ( Exaggerration ).

What. No it is not. Every single open world game since GTA 3 is a none corridor shooters.. And for games that stream the enviroments there are also plenty.. For example, oblivion and fallout 3/new vegas.

Regardless.. When I get crysis 2 it'll be on pc and when I get kz3 (after I regain a functional ps3) it'll be great too.

A- It's not official. KZ3 is indeed technically superior to the multipltat Crysis 2 but just cause LOT says so doesn't make it official. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think LOT announced the FPS graphics king.

B- No one lied, IGN just are shit for technical comparison, they don't have a clue.

C- And what about DF, what have they said that is a lie? DF is the most comprehensive comparison site going but they only compare the same games which makes sense. I enjoy reading LOTs exotic comparisons of different games but at the end of the day they are different games which set out to do different things etc etc etc.

Well to point out, theres at least 14 other media reviews you need to share it with then. Because IGN were not the first to say it, nor the last.

Both Official Playstation Magazine and Playstation Universe in EU said Crysis 2 was the new king. And rated it higher than KZ3.

they seem to agree with my way of graphics rather than the numbers graphics, if it looks better, not in art direction but more realistic for what it does then its better... thus crysis2 > killzone3

If you think the e-peen competition between Killzone 3 and Crysis 2 is bad, wait until Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 both release...

u3 should take it back, gears is gonna be purrrdy but uncharted will prob re-take the claim in non racing game terms

Well, having played Crysis 2 and Killzone 3 extensively now, Killzone 3 is a pretty easy winner for me. The character models, the different environments, and the rocksteady technical performance are what made it stand out. Oh, and the AI. By the gods is the AI in Crysis 2 bad! Also, as a game, I much preferred Killzone 3. Crysis 2 didn't have enough variety (and pulling the same tedious boss fight on me 3 times was tedious as hell).

Still, neither were perfect examples of FPS goodness. I actually preferred the single-player campaign of Singularity, for example.

What people need to understand is that when LOT says a game is better graphically, it's more relevant than any of our comments, because they don't say that just by looking at their screens (like most of us) they have an equipment that enables them to compare two games professionally and in depth. That said people who say "because LOT said it doesn't mean it's true" then you're in a complete denial.
